E-waste event set in Encinitas

ENCINITAS — Rancho Santa Fe Security is hosting a “Think Green” electronic e-waste disposal drop-off event in its parking lot.
The collection will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 20 at 1991 Village Park Way, just across from the 7-Eleven store. The collection is open to all San Diego residents.
Items that can be accepted include computers, TVs, computer monitors, wires, stereos, radios, telephones (cell and home), small printers and copiers, VCRs, DVD players, camcorders and circuit boards. They cannot accept batteries, household appliances, light bulbs or microwaves.
